pup says...

hello there... im sure you can guess what this is about (; >_<) basically, ive been told to wear a lanyard and such for a couple months for my own comfort n such, and i FINALLY wore it today for the first time. lots of people complimented me on it and it felt awesome to have people ask to read my pins and such!! lots of people were respectful and awesome about it. i DID however experience some downsides. i had multiple people kinda give me a dirty look when using my mobility aid and plenty of people thought itd be awesome to question why i walk fine somedays and then the next day i need a cane. it would be fine if it was a respectful manner, but they said it in the worst way possible i think. like "what are you doing here freak" type way. ive learned to kinda just explain it lightly and in a calm manner and they eventually understood but. PLEASE do not be that person... its very stressful and insanely anxiety inducing... i am okay now and i am doing awesome and plan on doing some math work with my favourite teacher in a couple mins here... so i am winning but also dying (chronic pain win!)
